Portfolio - Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei, roughly meaning 'dead-end marsh', dominates the southern part of the Namib desert with its high orange dunes. One of the main landscapes here is called Deadvlei. This is a dried bed in which the remains of dead trees bring an eerie feel to the desert.
